Barkley never won an NBA Chapionship, but the five-time All-NBA First Team selection and 11-time All-Star is widely considered one of the greatest players of his generation and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. Barkley is the 23rd all-time scorer in the NBA; he ranks 19th in all-time rebounds per game, 18th in total career rebounds and is one of only five players in NBA history with 23,000 points, 12,000 rebounds and 4,000 assists. The self-proclaimed “ninth wonder of the world” is the shortest player in NBA history to lead the league in rebounding. His career statistics of 22.1 points per game and 11.7 rebounds per game over 16 years are remarkable for his size and a credit to his will power.
Barkley was named the 2002 Personality of the Year by Sports Illustrated.
Barkley was the first player from the state of Alabama to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.
Currently, Barkley is an NBA analyst for TNT’s Emmy award-winning "Inside the NBA" for more than a decade. He hosts with Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and Ernie Johnson.Barkley’s personality have earned him an audience that transcends the sports arena. He speaks his mind regardless of the topic or public opinion. Barkley says what most people won't and always keeps it real. He speaks on social issues that other top athletes won't.
The Charles Barkley Foundation has given millions of dollars to colleges and universities and he has personally contributed funds to start up businesses, invested in low income Black communities, other charities, and individuals.
Nothing But Nets is a United Nations Campaign to end malaria. "This is a cause that I have been seriously involved in since college. I hope not only to provide much needed bed nets, but to also raise awareness about ending malaria." said Curry. These nets really save lives.

Thanks to Nike and many other supporters, the renovation and development of these basketball courts is the perfect opportunity to open these doors.” The KDCF is an IRS-designated 501(C)3 Public Charity.
